I appreciate you taking the time to compose your words and share your thoughts, work and some fav external things with us. (I followed the print maker, perfect timing as I like her as the tic and I just got a start-up lino kit I’m ruminating on ideas about so she can be an inspiration..) All the best in making through your intense next few weeks successfully do you can truly relax and enjoy your vacation.
Thank you so much for saying this. It filled my cup today, no joke. Sending things into the void is interesting. I never expect a ping back, so a little comment goes a long way. On a different note, I did a lot of printmaking in my Uni days. And have been toying doing linocut at home also. I've done them all (litho, copper, screen etc), and lino is one you can enjoy without a huge space or monetary investment. I am wondering if it will scratch my itch to make something physical versus only digital.
Glad to know my words helped out in a small way. 😃 I guess we do sometimes hear each other out here in digital world. Ooo, I hope you post some of your old Lino work (or new work perhaps?), I would be quite interested to see. I haven’t started yet (so much on my “to do” list as Xmas approaches) but I am thinking about what I would like to do to start and watching some YouTube videos. (I like to be prepared…). Have a great day!
This was a great read. A good reminder to remain more present with the place I’m writing in rather than only the subject.
