So grateful I'm reading this! I'm going through that issue with my website right now. It doesn't reflect who I really am and what are my interests. My commercial work and personal work are completely different and I need to find a balance. Reading your thoughts about it is reassuring!
I still toy with starting a site that is 100% my portfolio and has zero client work. That said, I am taking advantage of Behance and the free sites you can build there. So I have a couple set up that include my brand work, and lean on them when a prospective client reaches out. Rather than mixing it all together on my site. I also use one as a customizable site. I'll adapt based on what is relevant to the specific client. It means being on top of my Behance, which I have not been lol but getting there slowly.

“Working with time” and Rest with a capital ‘R’ seem to be what is needed. I’m here for these reminders👊🏼
Hey, I write them as a reminder for myself also lol
